Aloha, our recent Thanksgiving feast was a gathering of bright hearts of all ages, abundant delicious vegetarian, organic food, & great fun with our Open Mic ~let’s do it again! Thanksgiving is also a time for deeply appreciating the precious wisdom of all indigenous peoples, with their honoring of our Mother Earth & their generous sharing of our Earth’s natural bountiful gifts of delicious food & every other good thing. I invite you to bring a dish that honors your own indigenous ancestors or an indigenous culture you especially appreciate . . . & maybe tell us a story about your dish &/or the ancestors?
Our VibeTribe Community Sanctuary is our sanctuary for community ✲♡ “*•.¸¸☼ ✲♡ “*•.¸¸☼ ~& We Have a Request!
-> How our VibeTribe Community Sanctuary came about is a magical story! In short, when the previous owner of our home decided to sell, we all had to move out (oh no!). We continued hosting events & gatherings (our Thanksgiving & Christmas feasts were in Kapiolani Park!) & we determined that we’d find someone to buy the house who would then allow us to move back in by our renting it from them.
~It took 9 months, but the plan worked!
In 2018, a wonderful man (~who has built & funds ten vocational training schools for street children in India & Pakistan), bought the house for us so we could move back in! We are so blessed that, in all these years since, we’ve been able to continue hosting nearly a thousand community events & gatherings. (4/week x 50 weeks x 6 years!)
Our benefactor-owner is over 80 years old. He recently cautioned us that, when the time comes that he leaves Earth & goes to heaven, his offspring will sell our home (oh no!). And of course we all want to be able to to stay here & continue holding fabulous gatherings of our awesome community. My vision is that his offspring will find out about *all the good* our community home has provided & will want to keep this going, & continue to rent this home to us.
Therefore, I have a request . . . would you be willing to offer us
an expression of gratitude? ✲♡ “*•.¸¸☼ for what you have gained in coming to events & gatherings that we’ve held here, & elsewhere, which have brought our community together?
☼ I know that the more we celebrate what we appreciate, the more we create more of what we desire to experience. ☼ So . . . focusing on & expressing our appreciations is a great thing to do all around! ☼
